Dallas Girl, 8, Killed After Accidental Shooting
The incident happened Saturday night, according to reports.
A Paulding County girl was killed in a Saturday evening shooting accident on Fairview Drive in Dallas, according news reports.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said the 8-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the head after a loaded gun apparently discharged when it fell to the floor. PSCO Sgt. Ashley Henson said the girl died as she was being taken to WellStar Paulding Hospital, the AJC reported.
The girl’s mother was shot in the leg and was taken to a Rome hospital.
