1. Downtown Dallas is getting ready to ring in 2023! Swing by on Dec. 31 at 8:00 p.m. to celebrate New Year's with the whole town. There will be food trucks, music, and fireworks. And don't forget the Silver Comet Ball Drop countdown! (AllEvents)
2. Now your kids can celebrate the Winter Solstice with some Disney fun! The Maude P. Ragsdale library is holding a Frozen Winter Solstice celebration. 3. Hungry for a delicious blast from the past? On Jan. 8, Pickett's Mill Battlefield Historic Site will be holding a special event focused on fried pies.
