Deputy Comforts Baby, Photos Touch Hearts Of Bibb Community

Photos of a Bibb County deputy comforting a tiny baby have touched the hearts of this Georgia community.

BIBB COUNTY, GA -- Photos of a Bibb County deputy comforting a tiny baby posted over the weekend have touched the hearts of this Georgia community. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office posted photos of the tender scene at a recent traffic stop.

Deputies say parents of six children were pulled over and became uncooperative with authorities.

"This is what happens when the parents of six children, ages 7 to infant, are uncooperative on a traffic stop," the Bibb County Facebook post reads.

The Georgia State Patrol called in the Bibb County Sheriff's Office for backup.

While the troopers were investigating, one deputy took it upon himself to perform a duty not seen every day, to comfort a tiny baby who was among the children on the scene. Deputy Lee Rohrback took the tiny baby into his arms.

"No worries little one… Deputy Lee Rohrback will keep you safe from harm! #LetThemBeLittle #ServeAndProtect #HonoredToServe #BCSOStrong," reads the Facebook post.

As of 9:30 Monday morning, the post has received 767 likes, 150 comments and 108 shares on Facebook.

"This is my cuz holding this baby so proud of him thank you," one comment reads.

"Thank you for all you have done. My heart goes out to you!!!," said another.

And "See we do. Got good heart cops in bibb co Bibb County Sheriff's keep up the good work," reads a third.
