- The mother of children who were allegedly abused by Hiram daycare owner, Marie Lipsky, shared more details. Speaking anonymously, the mother explained in detail the types of abuse her children, as well as the other children at the daycare faced. The abuse included being hit in the head and face with "excessive force" and having a plastic bin thrown at them. Lipsky is currently in police custody and stands accused of assaulting at least five children. (WSB Radio)
- Paulding County is set to benefit from a $313M investment. Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development announced electric infrastructure investments to expand four Georgia electric cooperatives, modernize the rural electric grid, and increase grid security. Greystone Power, which is headquartered in Hiram, provides service to 141,146 customers over approximately 7,355 miles of line. (Coosa Valley News)
