Through Friday, Georgia DOT maintenance crews will work on sealing the cracks on the surface of the roadway of on SR 113 in Paulding County from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
"Sealing pavement cracks is a Georgia DOT maintenance practice that helps to prevent water from entering the base and sub-base of the roadway and extend the pavement life by at least three years, while improving rideability on that roadway," Georgia DOT spokesman Mohamed Arafa said.
