  1. The special grand jury in Fulton County has completed its investigation into the 2020 attempt to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. On Monday, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney announced that the grand jury has filed its final report. With the investigation concluded, the grand jury has been dissolved. On Jan. 24, a hearing is scheduled to determine whether or not the report will be released to the public. (CW33 Dallas)
  2. The Georgia River Network is offering up prizes to state residents for visiting rivers throughout the area. The organization is giving away over $8,000 in prizes, including a $500 gift certificate from Cedar Creek Outdoor Center in Hiram. There are more than 220 miles of outdoor water adventures to experience. (Savannah Business Journal)
  3. Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? Now you can, with this beginner's hand-knit blanket class at Dallas Markets. On Jan. 14 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., you'll be able to work on a basic blanket pattern. You get seven skeins of yarn and a drink voucher for the beverage of your choice! (AllEvents)
