Free Child Fingerprinting Events Offered By Paulding Deputies

This is a chance to get pertinent information about your child recorded in the event a child gets lost or goes missing.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA – With Paulding County Schools set to go back in session on Wednesday Aug. 1, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free “Safe Kids” child fingerprinting event to residents. This is an opportunity to have pertinent information about your child recorded in the event a child gets lost or goes missing. The event will be held in the lobby of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on the remaining three Thursday evenings in July.

This event is free to the public and will give parents a copy of their child’s photograph, personal information, and a digital fingerprint which will all be stored on a small credit card sized plastic card. Please note that none of the children’s personal information or fingerprints will be retained by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. This event is solely for parents to obtain that important information about their child so they can keep it in their wallet. Sheriff Gary Gulledge stated, “Our children are the most important and precious things in our lives. This free service is a small way that we can give back to the community to help give parents that piece of mind in the event their child gets lost or goes missing.”
