Free Coronavirus Testing Available in Paulding, But Call First
Georgia's health department is offering free tests in Paulding for people with coronavirus symptoms, but you must call first to be screened.
PAULDING COUNTY β Paulding is one of four counties in northwest Georgia where the Georgia Department of Public Health now offers free testing for people showing symptoms of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. However, you must call first to be screened for testing.
Symptoms of coronavirus infection include fever, dry cough or shortness of breath. Others eligible to be tested include
- Healthcare workers, first responders and other critical infrastructure workers that have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Residents of a long-term care facility or other group residential setting experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19.
Free testing also is being offered in Bartow, Floyd and Walker counties.

Call first before arriving for a test. Call 706-802-5329 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 to noon Saturday to be screened for testing.
