1. A Georgia State Patrol trooper is recovering in the hospital after being shot during a police operation on Wednesday. The officers and troopers were tasked with removing people from the area near a public safety training facility in southeast Atlanta, commonly known as "Cop City." During the attempt, a suspect fired at law enforcement. The trooper who was struck is in stable condition; the suspect was killed when officers returned fire. (11Alive.com WXIA)
2. If you know a kid or teen who loves anime, we've got good news: The Maude P. Ragsdale Hiram Library is once again hosting Anime Club.
