DALLAS, GA — A Republican candidate for Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. House released a campaign video this week where she cocks a semiautomatic rifle and warns Antifa to “stay the hell out of northwest Georgia.”

Marjorie Greene, a mother of three who says on her campaign website that she’s against “gun-grabbing politicians” and “radical socialists,” released the 18-second video Tuesday on YouTube. (See video below.)

“President Trump declared the Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. I have a message for Antifa terrorists,” Greene says before cocking what appears to be a semiautomatic rifle. “Stay the hell out of northwest Georgia. You won’t burn our churches, loot our businesses or destroy our homes.”

President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday that the United States will designate antifa as a terrorist organization, although some say the U.S. government doesn't have the legal authority to do so.

According to The New York Times, antifa — a contraction of anti-fascist — is a loose confederation of individuals with similar goals and targets, not a formal organization with a central leader. Still, antifa is blamed by many — without evidence — for much of the havoc associated with recent Black Lives Matter protests.

The comments under Greene's YouTube video — some unprintable, a few written in what appears to be Russian — were divided between support and snark. Some posters lauded Greene, while others mocked her.

“She absolutely rocks,” wrote one YouTube subscriber.

“I think we all know ANTIFA is overrunning Northwest Georgia right...….?” wrote another.

This isn’t Green’s first campaign video to show a girl with a gun. In April, her campaign posted a video to YouTube that showed Greene in an open field using an AR-15 to explode tannerite-filled buckets representing gun control, open borders and the Green New Deal. She capped it off by blowing up a sign that read “socialism.”

"The explosions were real,” Greene said to Fox News. “A lot of campaign ads use fake explosions, [these] explosions were real. I'm the candidate and I made the shot myself so that was a lot of fun.”

Greene, who originally planned to run for the 6th District seat, shifted her campaign to the 14th District last year after incumbent U.S. Representative Tom Graves announced he would not seek reelection, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

District 6 includes Atlanta’s northern suburbs, including Alpharetta, where Greene's family-owned construction business, Taylor Commercial, is located. The district currently is held by a Democrat, Lucy McBath.

District 14 is more rural and encompasses Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker and Whitfield County, along with part of Pickens County. Greene is vying with eight other candidates for the Republican nomination.
