Grandmother Fights Off Teen Robber: Report
She was leaving the bank when a teen came up from behind and hit her in the face. But her parents taught her to stand up to bullies.
DALLAS, GA β A 69-year-old woman fought off a teen robber in Dallas Friday after leaving a bank, according to a Fox5 report. The woman, a grandmother, asked to remain anonymous, the outlet reports.
She said she was getting into her car after leaving the bank when the teen came up from behind and attacked her, hitting her several times in the eye and jaw. However, she didn't give up her purse. Her parents taught her to stand up to bullies, the report says. The two ended up on the ground.
Passersby broke up the fight and a woman honked her horn while a man across the street yelled at the robber, causing him to run off with another teen, the report says.
