  1. Looking for some family-friendly Halloween fun? The City of Hiram Police Department invites the community to its Trunk or Treat event at Gray's Mill Park on Friday, Oct. 21, from 5:45-7:45 p.m. In addition to cars full of candy, guests can enjoy food trucks as well as a showing of Hocus Pocus.   2. If you still can't get enough of the spooky season, the New Georgia Public Library is offering a Halloween-themed crochet class on Friday, Oct. 14. Participants are asked to bring two skeins of yarn (one in soft white and one in black), as well as a US H or 8 crochet hook, to create their own Halloween ghosts.   3. Hiram High School received several donations for the HHS Care Cabinet, a food cabinet to benefit students in need. The goods were donated by Rooted in Christ with support from KSU Upward Bound.
