- On Monday, Georgia State University President Brian Blake visited East Paulding High School and Hiram High School. Alongside Paulding County School District Superintendent as well as several board members and State Representative Joseph Gullett. The officials toured both schools, speaking with students and faculty alike. Plans to increase recruitment to Georgia State University from the two high schools were also discussed. - The Paulding County High School ROTC held a fun-filled Rifle Teams Christmas Match. Jokingly nicknamed the "Don't shoot your eye out, kid!" rifle match, this event let team members compete for prizes. - A storm system is bringing some dangerous weather to Georgia. A massive storm system will be crossing over the country this week. It is expected to hit Georgia by Thursday of this week. Alongside colleagues from Northwest Georgia RESA, on 'A Day in the Life of a PBIS District Coordinator. Additional presentations were given on topics ranging from 'Harnessing the Power of Motivation at Tier I' and 'PBIS Can Work at a Middle School - But It Takes Commitment.'
