- Today, Oct. 13, Main Street to E. Spring Street in Dallas will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. until further notice. The road will be closed for sewer service repairs. (City of Dallas via Twitter)
- A new Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday, Oct. 12, shows the Georgia Senate race between Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) and Herschel Walker (R) is almost the same as last month, even amid news of Walker allegedly paying for an abortion. In the latest poll, Warnock is ahead of Walker by seven points, 52 percent to 45 percent, and last month Warnock led by six points. (The CW 33)
- The Paulding County Board of Education recognized outstanding Paulding County School District students and staff at a school board meeting on Oct. 11. Students who displayed character traits of courtesy and patriotism were recognized as "Character in Action Winners." There were also STEM Certified School Recognitions, Star Staff Employee Recognitions, Fine Arts honorees, and more. (Paulding County K-12)
