- A man has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat made at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. On March 21, officers from the Douglasville Police Department were called to the hospital to investigate the threat, which resulted in a lockdown of the facility. - Former Gov. Roy Barnes has filed a lawsuit against Cobb County regulators after a request to rezone his farmland to build homes was denied. The lawsuit, which was filed this week, seeks to declare parts of the county's zoning code unconstitutional. Barnes Farms partnered with developer David Pearson Communities to build a proposed single-family residential housing development on his 192-acre farm in unincorporated Powder Springs. However, the county denied the request over concerns of flooding and zoning requirements. (The Christian Index)
- According to a recent report by WalletHub, Georgia has been ranked as the second highest state for job resignations in the United States. The report ranks states and the District of Columbia based on how frequently people are leaving their jobs.
