  1. Police have rescued a man who was trapped under an overturned tractor-trailer. The incident happened on Tuesday at around 12:40 p.m. The large truck had flipped over near North Burnt Hickory Road at Connally Trail on the border of Paulding County. Emergency services were able to remove the trapped man from the vehicle and he was airlifted to the hospital. (WSBTV)

  4. On Tuesday, a stalled car caused some difficulties on Highway 278. Cassandra Dunn's car stalled out in the morning right in the middle of Highway 278 near Highway 61. A few local residents stopped to push her car to safety and then had her car towed to a nearby gas station. What a great example of the Paulding community supporting each other!   5. A runaway teenager has been found safely. Andrew Stanley, 16, who goes by the name Violet, disappeared on Tuesday at about 6:00 p.m. As of Thursday, they have been located safely, according to the Hiram Police Department. (Hiram Police Department via Facebook)
