Moped Driver Has Serious Injuries After Hit And Run, Info Sought

The Georgia State Patrol is looking for information about a hit-and-run accident that left a moped driver seriously injured.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA – A moped driver has serious injuries after being hit by a green pickup truck that fled the scene, according to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. Post 29 of the Paulding of the Georgia State Patrol Office needs your help locating the suspect in the hit and run accident.

The hit and run accident occurred Sept. 9 at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Hiram Sudie Road at Old Sudie Road. A green pickup truck, with a headlight out, struck a moped as it traveled down Hiram Sudie Road. After the impact, the truck continued on Hiram Sudie Road traveling westbound toward GA 61 leaving the victim with serious injuries.
