Motorcycle Rear-Ended, Couple Dies In Accident On Ga. 101

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — A young couple were killed Saturday night in a motorcycle accident near Union Community.
Patrick McCloud Jr., 32, Temple, and Danielle Carteaux, 31, Dallas, died when the Harley-Davidson they were riding was struck from behind on Ga. 101 and pushed into oncoming traffic.
Georgia State Patrol investigators said they believe that Allynda Jackson of Villa Rica was driving south when she hit the stopped Harley-Davidson, which was waiting to make a left turn onto Harmony Road.

The impact sent the Harley into another motorcycle, a Honda Shadow, traveling north. Neither Jackson nor the other motorcycle driver, Arlen Roland, Roopville, were seriously hurt.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the crash is under investigation. As of Tuesday afternoon, no charges had been filed.
