- Deputy Marshall Samual Ervin, Jr. was laid to rest on Thursday. The second of two Cobb County deputies to be killed in the line of duty, Ervin's funeral took place at West Ridge Church in Dallas. His colleague, deputy Jonathan Koleski, was buried on Wednesday. Both deputies were killed during a shootout near Marietta last week. (CBS 46 News)
