- The family of a Paulding County child killed in a high-speed car chase is demanding action. 12-year-old Le'Den Boykins was killed in a crash on Sep. 10, 2021. Charlie Moore, 37, and his 14-year-old son were also in the vehicle when, after police smashed a car window during a routine traffic stop, he sped off. The police vehicle then intentionally hit the back of the car, causing it to spin out and flip over. It has been 500 days since Boykins was killed, and no official action has been taken by authorities. He and his friend were going to help clean up parking lots to earn some extra money.
