No Bond For Dallas Man Charged With Murdering Mother's Boyfriend

A domestic dispute led to the fatal shooting, according to Paulding County detectives.

DALLAS, GA — A 22-year-old Paulding County man was jailed without bond after being charged with killing his mother’s boyfriend.

Clark Chandler Anderson was arrested without incident after Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies answered a 911 call Sunday at 99 Summer Glen Trail in Dallas. When they arrived, they found Kevin Mack Murr, 56, dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives said in their report that they believed Anderson retrieved a handgun from his room, then shot Murr after “some type of domestic dispute.”

Anderson is charged with murder, malice murder, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, and hindering a 911 call.

As of Thursday, Anderson was still being held without bond in the Paulding County Jail.
