Editorial Correction: An earlier version of the first story incorrectly stated there was a fire on a Paulding County bus. This version is corrected to indicate a fight broke out.
- A 43-year-old Paulding County bus driver and a parent were taken into custody after a fight broke out on a school bus, which caused students to clamber to escape through windows. Crystal Dawn Johnson, and Taβmara Tyisha Aborn, 28, were charged with battery. A video of the incident went viral, showing a fight between parents and children at Allgood Elementary. (WSB-TV)
- The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission adopted a new set of rules last week. The rules are linked explicitly to manufacturing and selling low-THC cannabis oil to patients who suffer from diseases. The initial law allowed each licensee to open up no more than five dispensaries to sell products, but because enrollment has increased, licensees can add another dispensary. (The Dallas New Era)
