Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Receives 'Facelift'

Volunteers from the Hiram Home Depot landscaped the grounds of the sheriff's office as part of Operation Facelift.

On Friday September 9, 2016 the Home Depot Foundation’s Operation Facelift team came to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office to beautify our grounds. The volunteers that assisted in the makeover were all employees of the Hiram, GA Home Depot and they all volunteered their time to help improve the landscaping around the Sheriff’s Office.

Giving back has always been a priority for the Home Depot. In 2002 The Home Depot Foundation was established to provide assistance to local communities and their residents. Since then, Team Depot's volunteer led associates dedicate their time and talent to community efforts where they work and live. Associates of the Home Depot consider it a duty, honor, and privilege to give back to our veterans and those who serve our communities on a daily basis.

The team came out and worked most of the day cleaning out existing flower beds and planting some new shrubs. In attendance at this event were Hiram store manager Tursson Wang along with the following associates: Patricia Farmer, Shakira Boyce, Keith Jacobs, Scott Allred, Adam Brannon, Gail Walker, Denise Rusch, and Sonya Ratcliff. All of the plants were donated by Flowerwood, which is one of the vendors that works with the Home Depot.

Sheriff Gary Gulledge noted, “It is only with support like this from our community partners that we can truly make a difference in Paulding County. I want to give a big ‘Thank You’ to the Home Depot for what they have done to make our Sheriff’s Office look so nice.” Again, thank you to the Home Depot for the assistance you and your associates provided, now the Sheriff’s Office has a much improved exterior appearance!
