Are these signs a scam? The Paulding County Sheriff's office has investigated.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — The Paulding County Sheriff's Office wants the public to know that signs offering students work that are scattered throughout Paulding County are not a scam.

"Have you seen these signs in and around Paulding County?" reads a post on the Sheriff's Facebook page. "Many of our citizens have seen them and the social media world has speculated at what type of 'work' they actually entail.

"Our Detectives have reached out to the individuals at the listed number and discovered that it is a marketing company called Vector Marketing," continues the post. "Vector Marketing confirmed that they put these signs out and that they are a legitimate marketing company who offers students an opportunity to make money as a telemarketer."
