Paulding Deputy Receives Officer Of Year Award

Deputy Terry McAdams was accompanied by Sheriff Gary Gulledge along with his family and supervisors at a luncheon held in his honor.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA— Deputy Terry McAdams, of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division, received the “Officer of the Year” award from the Paulding County Rotary Club at their regularly scheduled meeting, July 17. McAdams was accompanied by Sheriff Gary Gulledge along with his family and supervisors at a luncheon held in his honor.

McAdams has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2014 and has been an exemplary deputy throughout his four-year career. As a deputy in the Uniform Patrol Division he answers calls for service, performs traffic stops, and assists citizens when they are in need. McAdams is a hard worker who has a “no quit” attitude and is well liked by his supervisors and peers, according to a Sheriff's Office Facebook post.

Sheriff Gary Gulledge noted, “Terry is an excellent Deputy who works hard every day. He is constantly out in the community arresting criminals helping to keep Paulding County a safe place to live and work. I cannot think of anyone that is more deserving of this award for 2018”. Sheriff Gulledge further stated, “I would also like to personally thank the Paulding County Rotary Club for continually supporting law enforcement in Paulding County. Without the support of philanthropic organizations like the Paulding County Rotary Club, it would be difficult for us to continually do our job.”
