Paulding Man Arrested For Making Child Porn Videos: Police

PAULDING COUNTY, GA -- A Paulding County man was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual exploitation for molesting children and making child sex videos, according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.

Thomas Joseph Cwik, 32, is being housed in the Paulding County Jail on a $33,200 bond.

Juvenile Investigations Division, or JID, assisted Homeland Security Investigations, or HSI, in the execution of a federal search warrant at 23 Primrose Lane Powder Springs. The residence is located in southeastern Paulding County where Paulding, Cobb and Douglas County all come together. HSI requested assistance from the Sheriff’s Office to serve the search warrant.

When JID detectives and HSI special agents executed the search warrant, they located multiple images of child pornography along with some original videos depicting child pornography on computers and other digital devices. Detectives and agents believe Cwik may have molested and produced videos of a sexual nature with at least two victims in the Paulding, Cobb, and Douglas County areas. The victims were both minors.
