- About four to seven inches of rain is expected in Georgia over the next five days, with localized flooding possible. By tomorrow morning, Dec. 31, storms and downpours from two separate storms are expected to roll through Georgia. The American GFS model simulates a widespread three to five inches of rain and possible localized totals of up to seven inches in Georgia. (Washington Post)
- Two Dallas businesses made the "What's Closed in West Georgia: Updated Restaurant and Retail Closures" list by The City Menus. Emmie and J Boutique in Dallas was relocated into Loved by Loveless, now located at 116 W. Bankhead Hwy in Villa Rica. The Wild Boar Sandwich Company in Dallas closed and will be converted into the Dallas Grill at the same location, 214 Main Street. (The City Menus)
- Enjoy a night out on the town with a live performance at the Dallas Theater! Don't wait too late to buy tickets, shows are selling out. This season's next show that still has tickets available is "The Ultimate Oldies: Rock & Roll Show" on Jan. 21. Then "SkynFolks" on Feb. 3, "Free Movies Celebrating Black History Month" on Feb. 11, and the Main Street Teens Production of "The Wizard of Oz" from Mar. 3 to Mar. 12.
