One man has been shot and one is in custody after a fight at the Hiram Home Depot Friday morning, police said.

HIRAM, GA -- One man has been shot and one is in custody after a fight at the Hiram Home Depot Friday morning, according to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. The person shot has been transported to Kennestone Hospital and his condition is unknown.

Two people in the garden center had a disagreement, police said, then the argument turned physical and the two punched each other, according to reports. A man in his 60s pulled a gun during the fight and reportedly fired one shot. The man who was shot ran to the customer service desk, reporting that he been injured.

"It's definitely a major concern that there were gun shots fired in an extremely busy store like this," Sgt. Ashley Henson, Paulding County Sheriff's Office, told WSB-TV. "That's going to play into if charges are going to be filed in this case. We're going to look at all of those different aspects."
