South Paulding Teens Help Rescue Child From Burning House
Three freshman football players are being called heroes after helping pull a child from a burning house in the Georgian neighborhood.

VILLA RICA, GA — Three South Paulding County High School football players who helped rescue a child from a burning house are being called heroes.
Ryan Seymour, Kai Keller and Pierson Blair — members of the freshman football team — were riding a golf cart through the Georgian neighborhood in Villa Rica Friday evening when they spotted a house on fire, according to WSB-TV.
Blair ran inside the burning building to rescue a child and the family’s Great Dane. Keller and Seymour worked to put out the fire with water hoses.

“Pierson just has an extremely large heart. He hates for anyone to get hurt,” his mother Christina said to Patch Monday. “We’re just super proud of him.”
The fire was so hot that it broke windows on the house, the boys said to firefighters.

“Being selfless & a good human being isn’t hard,” assistant athletic coordinator Jason Nash tweeted on Saturday. “Proud to call them SPARTANS!!!”
