South Paulding's Grad Rate: 78.52%

The Paulding County School District fared better than the state.

More than 75 percent of Paulding County high school students graduate within four years, according to new figures the Georiga Department of Education released on Tuesday.

That's slightly less than the district's 2011 graduation rate of 76.01 percent, but more than five percentage points higher than the state's 2012 graduation rate of 69.72 percent.

South Paulding High School led the district with a graduation rate of 78.52 percent. East Paulding High School's rate of 78.3 percent wasn't far behind.
