PAULDING COUNTY, GA -- Parents were surprised to see the South Paulding High School baseball team's field house burning at around 4 p.m. as they picked up their children from school Tuesday. The fire happened one day before the team was scheduled to play in Kennesaw in the GHSA playoffs.

The investigation is complete and the cause was determined to be refueling a lawn mower which ignited under a roof, said Mapes. The worker suffered minor flash burns and was treated and released by Metro EMS on the scene.
