SUNDAY

A Hanukkah Fun Day

When: 10:30 a.m. Sunday

Where: Chabad Jewish Center, 4255 Wade Green Road NW, Kennesaw | Get directions

Why Go: There will be all sorts of activities for the kids: candle dipping, Hanukkah snow globe making, doughnut decorating, and other arts and crafts. After the children's program in Kennesaw, celebrate the Miracle of Lights in Woodstock.

Price: $5 per child. Pay at the door. Organizers will also collect brand new toys, cash and gift cards to send to Hurricane Sandy victims in Oceanside, N.Y.

Empty Bowl Brunch

When: 11 a.m. Sunday

Where: The Art Place, 3330 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta | Get directions

Why Go: Proceeds from the event are donated to local charities.
