  1. Yesterday, Nov. 20, a traffic stop at the intersection of Macland Road and Bobo Road in Dallas led to a chase and a shootout between a deputy and the suspect. The chase ended at West Memorial Drive adjacent to Bolton Furniture when the suspect was injured during a shootout with deputies. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, died while at the hospital. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will handle the case for the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. (11 Alive)
  2. On Nov. 18, Senate Majority Caucus Chairman Jason Anavitarte (R-Dallas) and Representative-elect Rey Martinez (R-Loganville) announced the creation of the first Georgia Hispanic Caucus. The caucus will focus on issues that serve the community, elevating Hispanic values, and how to strengthen and unify Hispanic and Latino representation. (Fox 54 News Now)
  3. Calling all Harry Potter fans! The "Harry Potter Party" today, Nov. 21, is a "Harry Potter" movie marathon from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will have themed activities for all ages at the Hiram-Maude P. Ragsdale Public Library. (West Georgia Regional Library System)
