- Bulldogs fans across Georgia mourn the loss of 20-year-old Devin Willock, an offensive lineman for the UGA Bulldogs, and 24-year-old Chandler LeCroy, a recruiting staff member. According to police, they received news of a single-car crash at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday on Barnett Shoals Road. LeCroy died at the hospital and Willock died at the scene. Two other members of the football program were in the vehicle and were injured but are stable. Their names have not yet been released. (CW33 Dallas)
- If you're looking for plans to celebrate Valentine's Day, look no further! Vintage Wine Bar in Dallas is hosting a Valentine Charcuterie Class on Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. You'll make your own heart-themed charcuterie board and make your own dipped strawberries. - A new program created by the City of Dallas Parks & Recreation and the City of Dallas Police Department aims to help educate children about making safe decisions. radKIDS is a free program that requires registration. - The 12U Roswell Bucs have openings for a few baseball players to join the team at Cooperstown Dreams Park field from Jun. 15 through 21. This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Cooperstown, NY, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Players must be 12 and cannot turn 13 before May 1. There is a preference for players who can pitch or catch. Tryouts are Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. at Hembree Park in Roswell on Field 3. (City of Dallas via Facebook)
