- With Georgia under emergency conditions due to the impending winter storm, multiple warming centers across the region are opening their doors to the homeless. Paulding County has one warming station, which is located in Dallas. Pickett's Mill Battlefield will be open from now through Dec. 26. (11ALIVE)
- An executive session by the Village Council has determined who will be the new EMS Coordinator for Pauling County. Thomas Shrider has been selected for the role. He is a current member of the EMS Squad. His duties will begin on Jan. 1. Shrider replaces Dave Foltz, who resigned earlier this year. (Progress Newspaper)
- Enjoy a night out on the town with a live performance at the Dallas Theater! This season's next show is "James Gregory: The Funniest Man in America" on Jan. 8.
