- Will Georgia soon ban the popular app TikTok? Republican State Sen. Jason Anavitarte announced on Wednesday he intends to create legislation to ban the app across the state. This move is in part because Anavitarte believes TikTok qualifies as a national security threat. He is also the chairman of the Senate Study Committee on the Creation of a Georgia Cybersecurity Force. TikTok's CEO testified on Capitol Hill that user data will not be shared. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Paulding County Sheriffβs Office is hiring for new team members. They are currently looking for individuals with technical skills to join their organization. - There will be a beginner class at The Dallas Markets on how to decorate your own sugar cookies on Dec. 17. The 90-minute class will teach participants how to outline, flood, and pipe impressive details on your cookies. You'll be given royal icing and a practice board to get started. - The mayor and council of the City of Hiram have recognized hardworking Hiram High School students who helped make the holidays magical. The Hiram High School Beta Club and Hiram Wrestling team worked as volunteers at the 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
