- The severe weather outbreak across the South has officially become deadly. On Tuesday night, a Louisiana mother and her eight-year-old son were killed by a tornado. Another two dozen people may have been injured by the incident. Georgia is bracing for severe thunderstorms, intermittent flooding, and the increasing likelihood of tornadoes. (Fox Weather)
