11-Year-Old Boy Shot At Decatur Skating Rink In Critical Condition

No arrests have been made at this time, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.

DECATUR, GA — An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition following a shooting over the weekend at a skating rink in Decatur.

According to the DeKalb County Police Department, on Saturday shortly after 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Golden Glide skating rink, which is at 2750 Wesley Chapel Rd. in Decatur.

Police said an 11-year-old black male was shot and transported to a local hospital.

Detectives said they are in the process of investigating this case, interviewing witnesses and obtaining surveillance video from nearby businesses.

Police said no arrests have been made at this time.
