Decatur Man Arrested On Murder Charges In Fatal Assault

DECATUR, GA — A 33-year-old man has been arrested on a felony murder charge in connection with the beating death of another man at a Stone Mountain home, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

Fugitive officers and the U.S. Marshals Service on Wednesday arrested Justin Scott Waters, of Decatur, in connection with the fatal assault of Taha Ibrahim Tahanur, authorities said.

The deadly incident occurred during a dispute on Nov. 17 at a Dunleith Court home, authorities said.

Waters was arrested without incident and is being held without bond at the DeKalb County Jail, authorities said.
