4 Arrested For Trespassing At Towers High School In Decatur: Report
BREAKING: Four people who do not attend the Towers High School were arrested Tuesday, one of whom had a gun. The school was put on lockdown.
DECATUR, GA -- Towers High School in Decatur was put on lockdown Tuesday as police arrested four people on campus, one of whom had a gun, Patch has learned.
A quick-thinking resource officer noticed the four trespassers at the school early in the day, according to news reports. While a male with a gun was in the school, the other three people were in a parking lot.
No students or faculty were harmed in the incident, which comes the same week as a deadly school shooting in San Bernadino, California.

The suspects at Towers High were arrested on trespassing charges, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The school was reportedly put on lockdown for several hours.
A letter to parents said that the incident was being looked into by school officials.

"An investigation is underway to determine how this incident occurred, if other persons were involved and how it can be prevented in the future," Principal Vincent Denson said wrote, according to WSB-TV.
A parent expressed concern about the incident.
βThings like this need to be taken very seriously,β parent Isaac Wimberley told the TV station. βThis has been going on all over the country-- kids coming in and shooting up schools. I mean, we have to be prepared for this kind of thing."
