- The Pied Piper Parade (try saying that really fast, three times) will be in downtown Decatur for the Fourth of July celebration. It's scheduled as an all-day event. The public, businesses, and organizations are welcome. There will be fireworks, of course, a community parade, floats, wagons, and more! For further details, you can click here, (Visitdecaturgeorgia)
- With a temperature of 91 degrees on June 26, Fire Rescue from Decatur had to rescue a pup left unattended in a car. According to their Facebook page, firefighters pleaded with the public to never leave their dogs unattended, in a vehicle, in such hot weather, especially. (AOL)
