Acclaimed Folk Duo to Perform in Decatur

Treat your ears to the music of Sundy Best at Eddie's Attic.

Decatur live music venue Eddie’s Attic will host Kinfolk duo Sundy Best on Friday, Oct 17, for a performance of their 2014 album, Bring Up the Sun.

Named one of Rolling Stones’ “26 Albums of 2014 You Probably Didn’t But Really Should Hear,” Sundy Best’s Bring Up the Sun draws its unique sound from genres like country, folk, rock, bluegrass, and R&B.

The band is made up of Nick Jamerson on guitar and lead vocals and Kris Bentley on cajon, a Peruvian percussive instrument.

Both Kentucky natives, the two musicians have written or co-written each song on their album, including songs like “Until I Met You” and “I Wanna Go Home” that have become stand-out hits.

Friday’s performance will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.

To purchase tickets for the show, visit the ticketing page on Eddie Attic’s website. Advance general admission tickets are $10, while any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $14.
