The Atlanta Friends Meeting (Quakers) welcomes the public to a series of programs this fall.Β All sessions are on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.Β
The topics are βQuakers and Peaceβ on Sept. 23 and Oct. 28, βQuakers and Worshipβ on Sept. 30 and Nov. 4, βQuakers and Equalityβ on Oct. 7 and Nov. 11, and βQuakers and Jesusβ on Oct. 14 and Nov. 18.Β Β

Each gathering will involve several Quakers sharing their experiences on the dayβs theme.Β It will also include discussion and 30 minutes of Quaker worship.Β

Refreshments will be served at 1 p.m. followed by the program.Β The location is the Friends Meetinghouse at 701 W. Howard Ave. in Decatur (0.4 mi east of the East Lake MARTA station). Children welcome β childcare will be offered.Β
The Atlanta Friends Meeting has worship services every Sunday at 10 a.m. In meeting for worship, we reflect in silence unless someone feels spiritually moved to offer a message aloud.Β The public is always welcome to join in this experience. Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
