DeKalb Workforce Development (DWD) is a division of the DeKalb County Government that offers workshops and classes to county residents.

The agency's goal is to provide education, training and employment programs for job seekers and workforce development services to businesses. Located in downtown Decatur, DeKalb Workforce Development is a one-stop center with four partnering agencies.

  • Workforce Investment Act Orientation: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00am
  • Introduction to Basic Computers: Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:00am
  • Introduction to the Internet: Wednesdays from 10:00am-11:00am
  • Resume Writing: Thursdays from 11:00am-12:00pm
  • Completing Online Applications: Thursdays from 10:00am-11:00am
  • Intermediate Computers: On the first, second and third Fridays of the month from 2:00pm-4:00pm
