  1. School districts across Georgia are implementing different strategies in an attempt to decrease the learning deficit caused during the pandemic. Research states that although the decrease in learning has stopped, there hasn't been much growth either and the funding for pandemic programs is scheduled to end in the 2023-2024 school year.   2. A DeKalb County jail detention officer finds himself on the opposing side of the law. Jason Sidberry was fired from his job, charged with violation of the law, and soon after learned he was also being arrested and charged with four counts of theft by shoplifting. Authorities stated Sidberry stole merchandise from a Walmart store in Gwinnett County. (Fox5Atlanta)
