  1. Atlanta Science Festival (ASF), presented by Delta Air Lines, is considered to be one of the greatest celebrations in regard to science and it's celebrating its 10th year! ASF is also one of the largest festivals of its kind within the entire country and it returns today, March 10! It's an all-ages experience with 150 interactive and educational events. ASF gives children and adults the opportunity to explore a variety of topics including, astronomy, nature walks, coding, and the science of meditation. (https://atlantasciencefestival...)
  2. A 2,700-year-old artifact that was reportedly stolen from a Baghdad museum in 2003 is being returned to the Iraqi government. The historical artifact, “Furniture Fitting with Sphinx Trampling a Youth,” was on display at the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University. The museum was unaware that the artifact was stolen, according to a spokesperson. When the museum purchased the artifact, the seller presented the museum with documents believed to be valid and available for purchase. (Decaturish.com)
  3. Mill Creek Residential, specializing in premier rental housing across the U.S., announced that move-ins are underway at Modera Decatur. The rentals are located in a mixed-use apartment community within the booming eastside Atlanta community of Decatur.
    There are 194 apartment homes. The community has an attractive Walk Score of 95 with interiors that are approximately 15 to 20 percent larger than the standard market-rate homes. (PR Newswire)
  4. Atlanta firefighters responded to Georgia State's Urban Life Building yesterday evening after a report that smoke was coming from the building. According to firefighters, the smoke came from an elevator. There were no injuries reported and only smoke, not an actual fire was present. (11Alive.com WXIA)
