Here are the top three stories today in Decatur-Avondale Estates:

1. The DeKalb School of the Arts Show Choirs and Jazz Band will be performing at Avondale Estates Town Green on Wednesday, Dec. 7. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the band and show choirs will be performing holiday music. Participants will be served festive treats and drinks by Banjo Coffee. Southern Local Nuts will also be roasting almonds and pecans. (City of Avondale Estates)
2. The City of Decatur has rescheduled tomorrow's Better Together Advisory Board Meeting. The meeting will now be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. Click for a list of board members and board responsibilities. (City of Decatur)
3. The City of Avondale Estates will be screening the holiday classic "Elf" on the Town Green on Dec. 21. at 6:00 p.m. The city's on-street parking throughout the downtown commercial district will be free for this event.
