Body Found in Tennessee May Be Missing Georgia Man: Report
Vincent 'Vinnie' Rossetti was last seen in mid-December after leaving his Peachtree City home.
PEACHTREE CITY, GA – Tennessee law enforcement officials say a body found in a lake Tuesday may be that of a missing Georgia man, according to news reports.
The body was reportedly found in Center Hill Lake near Smithville about 7:30 a.m. outside the Sligo Marina.
Law enforcement authorities believe that the body could be that of Vincent “Vinnie” Rossetti, who was last seen by relatives on Dec. 17, the day he drove from his family's Peachtree City home to his sister's house in Birmingham, Alabama.

"A dock worker for Sligo Marina found a body at the Sligo Marina as he was doing morning maintenance on the dock," Ray said, according to WZTV.
One day after leaving his sister's home, Rossetti was found by a state trooper on a roadside in rural White County in Tennessee. Instead of notifying his relatives, the trooper, who noted that the man seemed to be talking to himself, got him checked out at a hospital in Sparta. The hospital released Rossetti and he vanished again.
Rossetti's relatives said that Vincent had not been himself before he disappeared. They told local media that the young man's father had died a couple years ago and that Vincent had not properly grieved the loss.
The body now goes to the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office for positive ID and cause of death, the sheriff said, WKRN reports.
