Coach Accused Of Sexual Molestation Arrested In Decatur

Joshua Alexander Robinson, 35,​ is accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old student at at Columbia Middle School in Decatur.

DECATUR, GA -- A middle school student engagement coach is behind bars after surrendering to the law enforcement officers this week on alleged child molestation charges, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office announced Friday.

Joshua Alexander Robinson, 35, is charged with multiple counts, including felony child molestation, felony enticing a child for indecent purposes and misdemeanor sexual battery. A 13-year-old student at Decatur's Columbia Middle School, where Robinson worked, accused the coach of sexual molestation.

DeKalb Schools Police issued an arrest warrant for Robinson on Wednesday. Robinson is no longer employed with the school district, officials said.
