Commencement Weekend at Agnes Scott

College to hold baccalaureate on Friday, commencement on Saturday.

Expect plenty of traffic and proud parents around Friday and Saturday as the school holds its 123rd commencement.

Below is the schedule for the next two days, courtesy of the college website.

and an Agnes Scott grad, will deliver the commencement address.

Some of the previous speakers have been Melanne Verveer, President Barack Obama’s Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues,  in 2011; former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in 2010; Dr. Helene Gayle, president and CEO of CARE USA, in 2009; and then-Sen. Hillary Clinton in 2005.

Dr. Elizabeth Kiss, president of Agnes Scott College, presented the commencement address during ceremonies at Huntingdon College in Alabama.
